I came back Monday from a fantastic trip to Japan where Hatsumi sensei gave me a new reward “Bufû Ikkan Shin Gi Tai”, given by him in the “name of the Bujinkan community”. Even though I knew that Pedro, Sheila, Natascha and Paco got this last February I was taken aback by the formal way it was given to me at the Hombu before the Sunday class. The news were exaggerating as usual. But if you planning to go to Tokyo be aware of the earthquakes and always have a torchlight with you. We experienced a few “small ones” and now that I am back in Europe, I feel strange each time the ground vibrates because of a train or a truck passing close to me. Hatsumi sensei’s new book: “gokui no budô” has been released.
Kodansha seems to be bankrupt so we will not have many copies (if we get any).
Sensei is preparing a new book on Ninpô for next year (but no publisher yet).
A new dvd series by Quest on Hatsumi sensei should be released for the end of the year.
The last dkms should be released by the end of May 2011..
